Comp Survey Collection Season

Contribute to the Buyside Hub to gain access to our Wall Street Compensation report

Hey guys,

I have a few pieces coming over the next month, but wanted to ring the bell - it’s wall street comp survey time. Last year’s comp survey was a smashing success, and this year’s looks even stronger now that it’s being run on Buyside Hub.

Yes, we are running our annual wall street compensation survey on Buysidehub.com, the wall street compensation and culture platform I launched last month. I put out a newsletter showcasing the full rundown of Buyside Hub here.

This is free for everyone on the buyside who contributes compensation and culture information every 12 months. We will need to verify your buyside seat on the backend, but we keep that 100% anonymous. Meanwhile, Sellsiders who contribute verifiable comp data and culture insights will get access through March 31st.

Anonymity is the number one priority for us, there are areas in the compensation and culture submission survey that 1) create separate submissions not tied to one bulk submission and 2) you can anonymize certain contributions as well if you want to. We will need to verify your submission during onboarding though, to confirm you are on the buyside.

Also we’ve got free stuff for you - all users get free access to our job board and get to hone their technical skills for free with our free LBO model template once they sign up. 🤝

Ultimately, the Comp report is going to be available for just Buyside Hub users: this means folks who contributed data or paid for site access. It doesn’t make sense IMO to reward folks who didn’t chip in to what we’re building here. We’re a very community driven platform, where each person’s contribution makes the platform better every day.

We’re excited to share our results next month, thank you for your contributions thus far.

You can also follow Buyside Hub on Instagram, X, and LinkedIn.

What else has been going on:

City Guides: I’m wrapping up my City Guide series, with a post on Boston last month and a few posts on New York City coming over the next few months. HYH Premium readers can access my city guides. Alternatively, if you’re recruiting for a buyside credit seat, make sure to check out my HYH Premium resources, where I lay out Credit Memo frameworks and the key questions you need answered when conducting diligence.

Job Board and Recruiting: On Buyside Hub, we regularly add jobs to our job board and work on more targeted recruiting efforts. Sign up to Buyside Hub to access our job board and email [email protected] to learn more about how you recruit can in front of the right investment professionals instead of overpaying for recruiters.

I’ve been writing in The Wall Street Rollup regularly: The Wall Street Rollup is my 2x/week finance newsletter that aggregates earnings updates and M&A transactions.
